We have a new programme starting in Kakapo - its called Parents with Degrees. We will be inviting a range of parents into class to talk about the choices that they made regarding their tertiary study.
We are very excited to learn about everyone's different choices.
A whole programme is being run that sees a different desk group run the session each week, this includes writing a letter to invite the guest, following up with a phone call, introducing the guest properly and also undertaking an interview. The outputs of each session will be shared with a wider audience through a small video and a one page bio.
The first week was a bit of a trial - as such we had Mr Theobald as our first guest - Here is the Video:
